Lyrics

Look into the eyes of the world. Into the eyes of a tiger or the eyes of a girl. Always looking back at me, beyond the face that I can see, is a light that shines like purest gold. Is a light that shines like purest gold.  Look beyond the senses that confound, into the very essence of the sound. Connect transcendent energy, unite in ways we cannot see. Yoga is a path to the profound. Yoga is a path to the profound. Deep beneath the motion of the mind, lies a place of stillness you can find. Cultivate and concentrate, upon the breath meditate. You’re bound to be successful if you try. You’re bound to be successful if you try. With your higher impulse as the guide, strengthened by the trust you will reside. In your seat of destiny, A king for all the world to see. Brother, meet me on the other side. Brother, meet me on the other side. The drums of Kali Yuga pounding on, the horns of every angel in alarm. The wicked fall to honesty, evil purged by energy, in a light that shines like purest gold. In a light that shines like purest gold. Look into the eyes of the world, Into the eyes of a tiger or the eyes of a girl. Always looking back at me, beyond the face that I can see, is a light that shines like purest gold. Is a light that shines like purest gold. Don't turn away your eyes from the world. Don't turn away your eyes from the world. Don't turn away your eyes from the world. Don't turn away your eyes from the world.

Story

It was upon reading a passage from the hymn of the sons of Hermes, who is is the great messenger of the gods in Greek mythology and a guide to the Underworld, that the song "Seed Must Die and Break" was conceived.  According to Robert Zink, the hymn invites us to consider living our lives "outside of the duality of the illusionary material world. This is a world beyond limitations, a world beyond the confines of a calculator; this is a world of imagination inspired by Light."

Lyrics

After the black winter, follows the clear spring. Red summer and golden autumn, whereupon the fruit is ripe and it can be picked. These are the four traditional hermetic colors, used to designate the phases of the Great Work. Enclosed in the human earth,  enclosed in the human earth, enclosed in the human earth, enclosed in the human earth, lies the seed. In order for the seed to bear fruit, as we have seen, the seed must die and break, and be opened. Be opened. Be opened. The seed must die and break, the seed must die and break, the seed must die and break and be opened. The seed must die and break, the seed must die and break,  the seed must die and break and be opened. Beyond the unseen dimension, the world of shadows, a dreamless sleep. The truth of who we should be, unfold and see. Universe, hear my plea. Earth open. Let the waters open for me. Trees do not tremble. Let the heavens open and the winds be silent. Let all my faculties, celebrate in me. The All, the One. The gates of heaven are open. The gates of earth are open. The way of the current is open. By the spirit of heaven and earth and the sea and the currents, stirs the seed. In order for the seed to bear fruit, as we have seen, the seed must die and break, and be opened. Be opened. Be opened. The seed must die and break,  the seed must die and break, the seed must die and break and be opened. Enclosed in the human earth, lies the seed.

Lyrics

Evolving into the woman I want to be. To take these broken lives and lift them up above me. Like a mother to the earth, in the center of a storm. I’m here beneath the ground, I’m buried in my sin. I’m casting many seeds, they’re riding on the wind. I’m inviting a revolution, but this time it’s inside of me, it’s inside of me. Returning back into the state of antiquity. Resolving divergent notes into harmony. Upholder of the earth, in the centre of a storm. I’m here beneath the ground, I’m buried in my sin. I’m casting many seeds, they’re riding on the wind. And I’m inviting a revolution, but this time it’s inside of me, it’s inside of me. Climb that mountain now while your legs are young. Climb that mountain now while your legs are young. You got to climb that mountain now, while your legs are young, while your legs are young. You got to climb that mountain now, while your legs are young, while your legs are young. You got to climb that mountain, climb that mountain. Climb that mountain now! You got to climb that mountain, climb that mountain. Climb that mountain now, while your legs are young!

Story

I don't think I'm alone in feeling like escaping the urban sprawl of the modern world, and recovering some of the lost energy that is so abundant in nature, yet so rare in the city. It is fitting that monks of all persuasions know the importance of separating yourself from the grasping "squirrel-trap culture", as Lovecraft called it. Urban Monk is about salvaging what we have left amidst a restless, samsaric world.

Lyrics

Letʼs move away together, we can live like two monks forever. The cityʼs a strange endeavour, always wanting more from the corporate war. Like moths drawn to a flicker, can we survive the depth of this winter? A dark age has surely fallen upon us, can we escape the sadness, get away from all the madness? The cityʼs a strange place, it seems itʼs the same wherever you go. People are grasping, at what, I donʼt even know. Prana is the power of life, the power of life, flows from the breath, the power of life. Prana is the power of life, the power of life, flows from the breath, the power of life. Be like the sun, giving it all asking for nothing. Still in the mind, beginning to find for what we are living. Retreat from it all, letting it fall while we are watching. Sounding the drum, the change has begun for what we are carving. Our own survival out of the modern world. We all, we need to get away. The cityʼs a strange place, it seems itʼs the same wherever you go. People are grasping, at what, I donʼt even know. The cityʼs a strange place, it seems itʼs the same wherever you go. People are grasping, at what, I donʼt even know. Letʼs move away together, we can live like two monks forever. The cityʼs a strange endeavour. Always wanting more, from the corporate war.

Story

One starry night, I began delving into Plato, whereupon I stumbled upon "bring your thoughts to birth, divine down to the earth" which became the inspiration for the song 'Lost.'  Plato, in his dialogue Alcibíades (circa 390 BC), used the expression ta esô meaning "the inner things", and in his dialogue Theaetetus (circa 360 BC) he uses ta exô meaning "the outside things".  This song explores the virtue of embodying solar characteristics (self-sufficiency) rather than lunar traits (dependency), which requires one to take an esoteric vs. exoteric approach, as described by Plato. Although "Lost" explores the solitary heroic path of transcendence, it also highlights the importance of "remembering" and passing on the tradition to others.

Lyrics

Something told me we were lost, when I looked up at the stars. Closed my eyes, opened my heart, found the answer wasn’t far. Bring your thoughts to birth, divine down to the earth. Bring your thoughts to birth, divine down to the earth. Divine, divine. Everything we thought we’d lost, was inside us all along. Hold the torch above the tide as the current rages on. Bring your thoughts to birth, bring your thoughts to birth, divine down to the earth. Divine, divine. Bring your thoughts to birth. Bring your thoughts to birth, divine down to the earth. Divine, divine. You can be divine, you can be the sun, never needing anything from anyone. You can be the source, you can be the light. Perceive there is more, know this great truth -you decide how bright you will shine. Bring your thoughts to birth, bring your thoughts to birth, divine down to the earth. Divine, divine. Bring your thoughts to birth. Bring your thoughts to birth, divine down to the earth. Divine, divine. You can be divine.

Story

Who is a stone guest? Individuals in history that bore witness to a higher truth and regardless of their obstacles they remained 'upright when bent'. Though the time these cosmic guests spent on our tiny planet was brief, their positive and heroic actions will remain forever etched in stone.

Lyrics

And when the world lays down its head, and falls to sleep at night, I lie awake like a watchman, for the morning. Like a stone guest, I don’t get no rest. Like a stone guest, I don’t get no rest. To win the empire to be free from desire, life and death shall surely pass away. Beyond pleasure, the world of the senses, they rise and then they pass away.Everything is changing, everything stays the same. Everything is changing, everything stays the same. The highest idea, the vertical view. Divine kingship is inside of you. The highest idea, the vertical view. Divine queenship is inside of you. Like a stone guest, I don’t get, I don’t get, I don’t get no rest. Like a stone guest, I don’t get, I don’t get, I don’t get no rest. Like a stone guest, I don’t get no rest. Like a stone guest, I don’t get no rest. Like a stone guest, I don’t get no rest. I don’t get no rest.

Story

This song is a metaphor for honouring the wisdom that has been passed on from our ancestors.  Elias Canetti, Nobel laureate of 1981, reminded the world of the importance of the cult of the hearth and the ancestors as they "have left us a wealth ... it is our fault that they have died out or are dying before our eyes, eyes that scarcely look.  They have preserved their mythical experiences until the very end .. They have left us an inexhaustible spiritual legacy."

Lyrics

I once was asked, if I could have any wish I pleased what would I choose, and I thought about it, I took a moment to think about it. And I answered, where I would most like to be, is in a field with my ancestors, with a thousand of my ancestors. Some common, some great, some fearful, some challenging fate. Some angry, full of fire and rage, some just trying to survive for another day. I want to meet my ancestors. Some people say that when you pass on to the other side, that waiting there to greet you is a congregation of the people that you loved in your life. So I thought about it, and it seems to be a righteous truth, that waiting for me there too would be my ancestors. Some wicked, some kind, some lost in the struggle to control the mind. Some faithful, some proud, some determined to speak above the crowd. I want to meet my ancestors, I’m every one of my ancestors. In the distant past, before there was you and I, false paradigms, we find those who came before us upon the same road. Revealing secrets, the wisdom of our ancestors. In honor, in truth, in shining ideals to inspire the youth. These values we find living in this place from another time. I want to meet my ancestors, touch the feet of my ancestors.

Story

"How can the seed know that by dying in the soil it will become a great tree? It will not be there to witness the happening. How can the seed know that one day, if it dies, there will be great foliage, green leaves, great branches, and flowers and fruits? How can the seed know? The seed will not be there. The seed has to disappear before it can happen. The seed has never met the tree. The seed has to disappear and die. Only very few people have that much courage. It really needs guts to discover truth. You will die as yourself. You will certainly be born." - OSHO

Lyrics

What once was a divergency, has become a unified dichotomy. We are going to, bring ourselves into harmony, I feel an impossible certainty. Shine on, together now, we got to shine on, forever now. We got to shine on, with metta now! Shine on, together now, we got to shine on, forever now. We got to shine on, with metta now! The pebble you threw is an avalanche now. What once was just a lonely seed, has become a forest of mighty trees. Who could foresee such a majesty in life arise? It is the same for all humanity. Shine on together now, we got to shine on, forever now. We got to shine, with metta now! Shine on, together now, we got to shine on, forever now. We got to shine on, with metta now! The pebble you threw is an avalanche now! I share my merits with every being, I bow down to their divinity. The flower blooms in open hearts when love’s light shines, this love will spread and all will realize. Shine on, together now, we got to shine on, forever now. We got to shine on, with metta now! Shine on, together now, we got to shine on, forever now. We got to shine on, with metta now! The pebble you threw is an avalanche now. The shore that’s close can still be hard to see, and when you see it, still harder to believe. It’s in the union of I - and - now, higher self will shine, Those who do God’s work shall never die. Shine on!
